董事长连运增获委任为国际标准化组织薄壁金属容器技术委员会(ISO/TC52)主席

近日，国际标准化组织（ISO）官网公布，中山火炬高新区企业广东欧亚包装有限公司董事长连运增，正式获任ISO薄壁金属容器技术委员会（ISO/TC 52）主席。这是中国专家首次担任该重要国际技术委员会的主席职务，对提升我国在金属包装领域的国际标准话语权具有重要意义。

国际标准化组织（ISO）是世界上最大的国际标准化机构。其下属的ISO/TC 52技术委员会成立于1947年，是ISO最早成立的技术委员会之一，主要负责标称壁厚不大于0.49毫米的薄壁金属容器领域的国际标准制定工作。该委员会现有来自39个国家的成员，已发布11项国际标准，其中三项由中国主导制定，其秘书处也设在中国。

连运增在制造业拥有三十余年经验，其创办的企业已在香港联交所主板上市。他于2023年8月获香港品质保证局认定为注册高级（教授级）标准化工程师。经国内对口单位中国食品发酵工业研究院有限公司推荐，并通过中国国家标准化管理委员会（SAC）考核，连运增于2025年5月获ISO中央秘书处注册为ISO/TC 52候任主席，并将于2026年1月1日起正式就任主席职务。

此次当选是连运增继2022年担任国际铝气雾罐制造商组织（AEROBAL）主席后，承担的又一项重要国际机构领导职务，将进一步推动中国产业界为国际标准化工作贡献智慧与力量。

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) announced the appointment of Lin Wan Tsang as Chairperson of ISO/TC 52 Light Gauge Metal Containers.

Lin serves as President of Euro Asia Packaging, holds the position of Rotating Chair of the Aerosol Committee of the China Packaging Federation (ACCPF) and was formerly President of the International Organization of Aluminum Aerosol Can Manufacturers (AEROBAL).

The scope of ISO/TC 52 covers standardization in the field of light gauge metal containers with a nominal material thickness of up to or equal to 0.49 mm. This industry occupies a significant share of the global metal packaging market, said ISO, with products distinguished by their wide range of shapes and sizes. Among them, the aerosol can serves as a typical example of light gauge metal container applications.

“[Based on my experience with] the platforms of AEROBAL and ACCPF, I will actively promote a global standardization strategy, and give particular priority to the development of ISO standards focused on carbon emissions and carbon footprint,” noted Lin.

“I am committed to ensuring that standardization brings tangible benefits to all countries and enterprises, including AEROBAL members,” he concluded.
